My diploma project for graduation, which I have photographed and worked on for the last two years is being published as a broadsheet journal in a limited edition of 300 copies.

CORAGEM E COUVES is a visual essay about peasant farmers in midst of Lisbon. In the suburban neighborhood of Lisbon allotment gardens originated to help to provide people with food as an essential step in times of social injustices. I accompanied some of the city farmers between high-rise estates and motorways for more than two years, capturing their story with the camera. The stories of four protagonists give their voice in the journal.
