CV
Lioba was born 1983 in Duisburg, Germany. After finishing school in 2003, she traveled to South East Asia before starting her studies at the Fine Arts Academy
in Münster 2004.
2006 she started a parallel second career at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund for Photodesign, with the focus on Photojournalism.
From 2007-2009 she worked as the Head of the Picture Desk of the Magazine „Journal 360°“. Her professor Henk Visch entiteled her 2009 with the honouring degree of the „Meisterschülerin-Masterstudent“.
In 2010, she went to live in Lisbon, Portugal for two years, where she still loves to be as often as possible. From 2012 on, she´s living in Berlin, sharing a studio with some other photographers and artists. Lioba works as a freelancer for magazines, NGO´s as well as in the field of journalistic Radio Features.
